Example Projects
This section of our website is under development - we will share details of successful projects here.
Bug Hotel Made By Stroud High School
Stroud high made a bug hotel, all the materials were free. The tiles, pallets and bricks were gathered from Facebook marketplace and would otherwise have gone to landfill.
Bird boxes made by a Girl Guides group in Gloucester
The group used the ideas on our website to make bird boxes to put up in the community centre grounds.
RSK Biocensus provided £250 for us to spend on biodiversity projects at Stroud High School
We are planning to put this money towards a wild flower area, bat boxes, a hedgehog hotel and a pond.
Wildflower Seeds
We applied to Seedball as part of their Spring School Giveaway, and have received this bag of 250 odd shaped native wildflower seedballs for just £6 (to cover postage). It contains 7,500 seeds, naturally protected in balls of clay, peat-free compost and chilli powder, with full instructions of how to use them. It should be enough seeds to cover 12 sq. metres and we can't wait to they them out at school - Thanks Seedball!
